I know that the Christmas plans this year are varied, so I would like to start this post to try and get everything straight and plan my vacation time. I have the whole Thanksgiving week off and will be home for the majority. I am going to have lasik eye surgery done and have yet to decide between the Thanksgiving or Christmas breaks. I am also planning a trip to the Bahamas from Jan. 2nd to the 8th. Other than that I am flexible and I would like a chance to see as many of you as possible. Please post your planned vacations

Our Plans:
Thanksgiving. Having a little party for Paisley on November 22, 2008 to celebrate her birthday. I think my parents will be in town from then until the following saturday including thanksgiving day. We will host a crowded thanksgiving at our house
I am off Tuesday of that week and Thursday-Sunday. Lee is Off Thursday (thanksgiving) until the following Wednesday I believe.
Christmas. Lee and I both are working the week of xmas and new years. Will be off the eves and xmas/new year’s day. Plan to have a quiet xmas at our house. Will see you and your parents but not sure of their plans yet. I’m for quiet, quiet, quiet this year!! So far I don’t think we will have out of town company at xmas.
Darrell wants to move Gudrun into her condo before Thanksgiving. He hopes to have the pod dropped on Friday 21st Nov and picked up Sat am. That said, any chance you can come in on Friday to help carry stuff from the loading dock to the condo….anyone? Johnny?
It is not much and can use the hand truck, but some of those glass pieces are HEAVY and I just can’t do it alone with him. We will be staying through Thanksgiving. you don’t have to buy me a Christmas present!
Mark’s job and boss sucks so he might have to work on Thanksgiving. Although we weren’t planning on traveling, it’s still a bit sad. Hopefully, he will get to come home for dinner that night with the only downside being I have to cook the bird alone. This is a bit of a problem since I have a history of randomly turning off the oven while the turkey is cooking and it has almost been disastrous both times…
As far as Christmas goes, Mark and I will be going to Connecticut to see my family/friends and then to Maine with my dad, stepmother, and brother. However, we will be in Cleveland November 12-16 (approximately) and we are planning to see Johnny along the way.
AND THEN… we will be shacking up with Chal shortly after Mark is civilianized (January 13) and I graduate (January 15). I can’t wait to move to the land of freedom and money…
I have class until about 3:30 on Friday so I won’t make it back until around 8 PM Friday, but if you want you can wait till then and I can help. If you get all the little stuff moved I can come and hep with the big stuff.
If my schedule turns out where I don’t have class that day I will let you know!

great, ok…then I guess we will count on Alli for some muscle and maybe John Norris. If it is easier on you John, Darrell can get some other guy to help-he was thinking of the current contractor on the job. Lee will be helping put the furniture together over the weekend, so if you were planning to come for Paisley’s party anyway, there will be plenty to do with that stuff. I guess what I’m saying is I don’t think Darrell wants to wait till 8pm to get the stuff offthe loading dock (I KNOW he won’t) ,so don’t hustle to get to Lakewood unnecessarily
