Camera Upgrade

Canon Rebel XT

Since we are expecting our second child we decided it was time to upgrade our digital camera. I was able to convince Alli that getting a SLR body was the best way to go for the quality of photos we’ve been wanting. Ever since we got our first digital camera my Canon EOS 35mm had gotten very little love, the features of digital being that much more enticing than a high end film based product. The great news here was I knew all of my Canon lenses would carry over to the new camera so I was able to save a few dollars.

I’m looking to expand my kit currently and find some new lenses for a decent price (by scouring Ebay). Of course if anyone has any good lenses they are not using currently and wouldn’t mind sharing (Mark?) let me know, I’d love to borrow some to try out new techniques.

    Ha,
That’s pretty funny because I was intending on bringing my Canon EOS Rebel and lenses back to VA with me after Christmas. I have yet to buy the digital SLR, but we have disussed it…but I think we decided that my digital is good for most occasions and buying 35mm film for the special occasions a couple times a year isn’t too much. So, sorry Lee, but you are welcome to use my lenses until then? And I could let you borrow my 80-300 until you get a lens of your own. Holla back.

Oh Thanks Mark…. I do have the original lens from my old canon (35 - 80?) so I’m not totally lensless…
we can play when you visit then with the new camera and all the lenses!
